AKEO, a large B2B company, wanted to offer its clients a modern mobile experience to browse and interact with their product catalogs in a visual and engaging way.

Problem ❗

The challenge was to create a mobile application capable of displaying and updating product catalogs (images and videos) dynamically from the AKEO API, while ensuring smooth navigation, offline usability, and an excellent user experience.

Solutions and achievements 💡

• Led the development of the entire Flutter application from design to deployment, in collaboration with AKEO’s backend developer and Product Owner.
• Implemented dynamic catalog fetching and automatic updates from the AKEO API, ensuring users always had access to the latest content.
• Developed a smooth and responsive interface inspired by the Carrefour app, including horizontal scrolling sections for catalogs and marketing offers.
• Integrated personalized push notifications through Firebase, with custom admin parameters for AKEO’s marketing team.
• Supervised another mobile developer and conducted regular code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
• Deployed the application to Google Play Store, reaching over 1,000 downloads with a 4.9/5 rating.
